ISEA2024 Academic Program

Please note: this program is subject to change. All timings are in Australian Eastern Standard Time.

The ISEA2024 academic program includes both an onsite program at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre and a virtual program. All keynote presentations and those sessions in the Plaza Auditorium, P6 and P11* will be livestreamed.

*P11 will only be livestreamed on Tuesday 25 June for the Fourth Media Art Archiving Summit.

The virtual program includes virtual discussion sessions, which will give virtual presenters the opportunity to participate in a live interactive discussion facilitated by an academic chair. Virtual delegates will be encouraged to pre-watch the presentation videos (available via the OnAIR virtual platform) and then join the discussion session, which will run through a provided Zoom link. The Aim of these sessions is to provide an opportunity for presenters to share and discuss their work with colleagues and for delegates to engage in Q&A. Each discussion will run for 30-50 minutes depending on how many virtual presenters and delegates are participating.

ISEA2024 acknowledges the Turrbal and Yugara as the First Nations owners of the lands where the symposium will be held. We pay our respects to their elders, lores, customs and creation spirits. We also acknowledge and pay respects to all First Nations peoples across the continent and beyond Australian shores.
